Contexte

Minterest was a DeFi lending protocol where users could deposit crypto assets, borrow against collateral, earn rewards and interact with several product flows: markets, asset details, bridge, points, leaderboard and transaction modals.

The project was created as part of Le Fruit Studio's wider brand, website and app redesign. My role focused on UI/UX for the application and on the product design system, in collaboration with Antony Legrand. The brand, creative direction, website and motion work belong to Le Fruit Studio's global case study.

The product is no longer live, so this page is built as a process case study: reconstructing the brief, the product complexity, the UX decisions and the handoff work without claiming launch metrics or using a public client testimonial.

Challenge

  • Translate a complex DeFi lending product into a clear interface: supply, borrow, collateral, APY, rewards, bridge, NFT boosts and transaction states.

  • Connect the app experience with the new brand direction while staying focused on product clarity, financial readability and developer handoff.

  • Cover many edge cases: connected and disconnected wallets, empty states, market states, reward scenarios, incorrect network, claim cooldowns and post-transaction actions.

  • Create a scalable system for an evolving brief, with several screens, responsive layouts and a large amount of components and modal variants.

Solutions

  • Structured the app around reusable product surfaces: dashboard, markets, asset detail, points, bridge, tables and global transaction history.

  • Designed clear UI patterns for DeFi decisions: risk, collateral, LTV/health, supply/borrow actions, reward balances and points progression.

  • Built a complete Figma system covering buttons, cards, tags, forms, tables, containers, navigation and transaction modals.

  • Prepared the file for handoff with a component logic that the internal team could extend after delivery.

Aurélien was a great designer, both responsive and talented. He consistently delivered high-quality work, with a lot of autonomy and a real eye for detail. Smooth communication, and deliverables that always met the expected level, if not above. I recommend his skills and professionalism without hesitation.
